Fan The Flame (Day 18)

Fan The Flame (Day 18)

God, the Lord of all creation is just about to make a promise. Isaiah speaks about Him and says that the basis of believing is because of His promises. Once He spoke to nothing and it became something and that something was the heavens and the earth. This is what a word from God can do. He doesn’t always need something to work with. His word says in Hebrews 11v2 “the worlds were framed by the word of God” and He also created the heavens and galaxies that we don’t even know about yet. He “stretched them out.”

The Presence of God: 26th April 2026

Join us as Pastor Pete Dale shares how being in the presence of God is vital for us; it consists of intimacy, closeness, and a time where we don’t hide from Him. Being in God’s presence is a powerful thing and we reflect the amount of time we spend with Him.

Key Scripture: Joshua 1:1-11 “After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide: “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites. 3 I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. …”

Fan The Flame (Day 17)

Here is the truth of divine perseverance in the sense that our risen Lord Jesus will not fail or be discouraged. To be discouraged is to be bruised or broken and Jesus Christ would not be, nor will He ever be discouraged. The image of the smoldering flax, failing to burn bright, was not or ever will be Christ’s experience. He is neither a bruised reed nor a smoldering flax, but He now being alive for evermore, is heavily involved with those who are.

These words are strong, encouraging, and full of promise. They speak about Jesus who will come and reveal what God is like to people on planet earth. …

Fan The Flame (Day 18)

Fan The Flame (Day 15)

Isaiah uses the word “behold” many times and often in a way to introduce something or someone new. In 41v8-9 God’s people were called “God’s servant” and believe or not, Nebuchadnezzar and Cyrus were called Gods servants, and they didn’t know God at all. We see here God’s authority and sovereignty in using world leaders. BUT in our text for today, this servant was different from all the others as He was the Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, Matthew 12v18 points directly to this passage in Isaiah.

Fan The Flame (Day 14)

Throughout all times and seasons, God has been proved right. No prophecy made by God has ever been proved wrong. In the book of Daniel 2v21-22…..

Fan The Flame (Day 13)

This world court is now in recess. In the first session God reminds Israel of His call was for them to live as His servants in the world and He would back them up by His presence and promises. But here, God calls the world court together and asks the question, Q. Who really rules the world?…

Fan The Flame (Day 12)

This is all to do with God providing for them, even in the wilderness…and He did this for 40 years when He redeemed them from Egypt and now promises to do it again regarding Babylon. To be honest, He can provide for His own in any place and any circumstances, and we see this throughout history.

Fan The Flame (Day 18)

Fan The Flame (Day 11)

We see here how small and weak God’s people looked when facing big obstacles. When we picture a worm, we see something that is weak, lives in the dirt, helpless and struggles in its condition. This is definitely a picture of weakness and disgust. They were classed as the “lowest of the low” in Babylon society. Because they worshipped Jehovah, they were despised, put aside and treated with contempt. They were insignificant people. The word “little” in our text means “few in number”.

Do Not Waste The Waiting: 19th April 2026

Join us as Pastor Pete Dale shares insight around how we spend so much time waiting and in so many ways…Yet, God never wastes this time and what we are going through. This is where God does His best work in us!

Key Scripture: Isaiah 40:28-31 “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak…”

Fan The Flame (Day 18)

Fan Into Flame (Day 8)

Wow, this is getting a bit dramatic, what a scene. The people of the nations and countries of the world are called to meet before God to make a decision. The judge of all the earth wants them to decide who shapes history. A well-known Prime Minister once said “but who is behind the world events? Is history meaningless or is it moving towards a purpose?” I love the following quote by George Washington “my administration will certainly not be easy to myself. It will be happy, however, if it is honorable. The prosperity of it to the country will depend on Heaven and very little on anything in my power”.
